Certo2.com was founded in 2022 in order to offer coverage for the important need in terms of high quality certification of CER (Certified Emission Reduction) activities in the area of biomass treatment. Innovative treatment of biomass is a totally new topic, that requires new processes for certification, combining different state of the art solutions for analysis, process treatment and certified documentation.
We offer the integrated treatment along the entire value chain, starting from the raw material up to the completely prepared paperwork, ready for carbon dioxide emission reduction certificates. This includes all necessary steps, feed stock surveillance, transport checks, laboratory analysis, process control and data acquisition as well as staff training.
Our methodology is as unique as the processes we are dealing with. We are focussing on the certification of processes for long term stabilization of carbon within diiferent organic on non organic materials. These material include residual biomass and non organic matter with the capability of reacting and storing carbon dioxide. In terms of organic material we are dealing with a treatment that allows for long term carbon dioxide storage through a unique combination of specialized bacteria in anaerobic environments of low acidity. Our methods enable a consistent and orderly traceable process with certified results.
Through our extensive network of laboratories and field equipment providers, we are able to provide real time based certification services to a host of clients in all relevant industries. Our services start with the documentation of raw material transport, commissioning, treatment and final deposit through the entire process chain. Each step is meticulously registered, documented and individually certified with the one goal of guaranteed long term carbon dioxide storage.
The cornerstone of our efforts are tailor made SCADA systems, with the ability to capture and process a host of process critical data onsite. All relevant parameter are sent via rural data link directly to our cloud facilites, for analysis, data acquisition and process control. This scrutiny in monitorization allows us to keep record of all data necessary to determine the evolution of all biological processes that are responsible for enduring capture of carbon dioxide.
Our Client
Microbiologic carbonization - This is one of the innovative processes we are monitoring for our clients. It is based on the long term binding of carbon in biologically processed organic matter, which guarantees a carbon capture for at least 60 years. Organic matter is specially prepared, piled and stored in heaps. All parameters, that are relevant for the carbonization and biological reaction into stable compounds are closely monitored, registered and documented according the proceedings of ISO 9001.
Inorganic capture - Regarding the inorganic capture of carbon dioxide, we are mainly dealing with basalt stone, that is brought into contact with the atmosphere through a variety of processes. All steps, starting from the initial mining of basalt stone, milling and final disposal are equally measured and monitored by supervisory control and data acquisition.
